Hello, I come from Czech Republic. The inhabitants of this country are Czechs and they speak Czech. Its political system is a Republic and its population is 10.5 million inhabitants. 
The total area of this country is 78866 Km2 and it's situated at the hearth of Europe. Its borders are Germany in the West, Poland in the North, Slovakia in the East and Austria in the South and its capital is Prague and another importan city is Brno.
The current president is Václav Klaus and the Prime Minister is Jan Fischer. The most important historic fact is Czech Republic made up of Empire Austro-Hungarian and took part in the First World War and too took part in the Second World War with Germany.
Famous Czechs are the artist Alfons Mucha, the composers Bedrich Smetana and Antonin Dvorák, the marathon runner Emil Zátopek and the writers Franz Kafka and Milan Kundera.
The tipical dish is the knedlíky, it is a type of dumpling made from potatoes or bread.
Czech Republic has been a member of the European Union since 2004. Finally I'd like to live here in summer because the temperatures are cooler than in Spain.
