Denmark

Hello! I'm Raul and I'm Danish, so I speak Danish.

Denmark only has land border with Germany, but since 1999 has been linked by road and rail to Sweden via the Oresund Bridge. Danish territory consists of the peninsula of Jutland (Jylland) and about 407 islands, of which 79 are inhabited (2009). Denmark is completely surrounded by the North Sea and Baltic Sea, with the exception of Jutland, which joins the European continent
Although Denmark is a member of the European Union, they don't have the Euro. The currency of Denmark is the Danish krone
Its most important cities are Copenhagen, its capital city, and
Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense, Esbjerg Randers. The Danish political system is a democracy with a king
Parliamentary stable, efficient and
organized, which, polls show opinion, 70% of voters are more or less interested in politics and almost 90% in general feel satisfied with the way it works democracy. The system is characterized by a culture of consensus and commitment among political actors, and gives many opportunities for participation popular in political processes at national and regional levels through membership political parties, organizations government and councils,
as well as various associations and corporations.

A very important person born in Denmark was Niels Bohr, he received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922.

    I like your country very much. I went there last summer, that's why I have included one photo of the Oresund Bridge that I took. I found it fantastic!!
