ESTONIA

Nationality of its inhabitants: Estonians
Language: Estonian
Political system: Republic
Population: 1,3 millions
Total area: 45 000 km²

Estonia has been  a member of the European Union since 2004.
It is the northernmost of the Baltic States, bordered to the south by Latvia, on the east by Russia, on the north by the Gulf of Finland and west by the Baltic Sea. Its currency is the Euro. Its capital is Tallinn, which is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe.
The typical dishes are marinated eel, blood sausage and pork stew with sauerkraut.
The most important people in Estonia are the writer Jaan Kross, whose works have been translated into over 20 languages, Friedrich Kreutwald, author of the national epic Kalevipoeg, and the writer, director and diplomatic Lennart Meri. I would like travel to Estonia But I wouldn't like to live there because it is very cold.
