No Stress

Lyrics:

I don’t wanna work today
Maybe I just wanna stay
Just take it easy cause there’s no stress.
I know it’s not an awful crime,
Something special in my mind,
Nothing’s gonna cause me distress.

I like to hear this song when I go out or when I had had a really busy day.

Lemon tree :)

"Lemon Tree" is a song by German britpop band Fool's Garden from the album "Dish of the Day", which was released as a single in 1995 and became a major international hit in 1996.
I have chosen this song because it reminds me when a was a child, I and my best friend listened to it in my house trying to sing it.

There are some verses which I really like:

"I'm stepping around in a desert of joy
Baby anyhow I'll get another toy
And everything will happen, and you'll wonder

I wonder how I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue, blue sky
And all that I can see is just another lemon tree"

and I leave you the link where you can see the lyrics

Finally, a funny video of this song.

MY INTERVIEW.

Hi! My name is Celia and this is the interview which I did to my sister last week:
I did an introduction saying that she is Angela, she was thirteen years old, she lived in Granada and she was going to talk about her favourite sport, table tennis. Then, I started with the questions:
I asked her how she had begun in that special sport, and she said to me that she had begun because her father really liked that sport and he had opened a school of table tennis seven years ago.

The second question I wanted to know was what the most important competition that she had won was. She said that the most important competition was when she had won the Table Tennis Spain Tournament a year before because she had to train really hard.
And the last question I asked her was if she could play other sports, which one it would be. She said that she loved football and she played it really well, so she would play football if she could.
I couldn't ask more questions because she had to pack her suitcase and to be concentrated because that day she had an important tournament in Valladolid.

Brick by boring brick

This song is from Paramore, an American rock band from Franklin, Tennesse, formed in 2004. The band consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis, and guitarist Taylor York.
Brick by boring brick is in my opinion one of the best songs I've ever heard. Maybe its music isn't the best but I think its lyrics are really strong and certainly true. In fact, all their lyrics have a deep meaning between the lines, like all the songs, but it's different because most of their songs have a meaning of overcoming, and they always remind me that I can't surrender. Well, here I am leaving you the lyrics of this amazing song and a video to hear it. Enjoy yourselves with my song! ;)

..
She lives in a fairy tale
Somewhere too far for us to find
Forgotten the taste and smell
Of the world that she's left behind
It's all about the exposure the lens I told her
The angles were all wrong now
She's ripping wings off of butterflies
With her feet on the ground
And her head in the clouds
Well go get your shovel
And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle,
bury the castle
Ba da ba da ba
So one day he found her crying
Coiled up on the dirty ground
Her prince finally came to save her
And the rest you can figure out
But it was a trick

And the clock struck twelve
Well make sure to build your house brick by boring brick
or the wolves gonna blow it down
With her feet on the ground
And her head in the clouds
Well go get your shove
l And we'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle, bury the castle
Well you built up a world of magic
Because your real life is tragic
Yeah you built up a world of magic
If it's not real
You can't see it with your eyes
You can't feel it with your heart
And I won't believe it
Cause if it's true
You can see it with your eyes
Even in the dark
And that's where I want to be,
yeah Go get your shovel
We'll dig a deep hole
To bury the castle,
bury the castle
Ba da ba da ba...

FRANZ FERDINAND

Franz Ferdinand is an indie rock band formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 2001. Their members are Alex Kapranos like lead singer, lead guitar and keyboards, Bob Hardy on bass, Nick McCarthy on rhythm guitar, keyboards and vocals, and Paul Thomson on drums, percussion and vocals.

In my opinion, Franz Ferdinand is a good group, and although, in general, their lyrics deal with love, I think the instrumental part of songs is great, specially the single's guitars.
Finally, I am leaving you the group's most famous song "Take Me Out"
and in my opinion one of the best.
Enjoy it!

"You know I'm here waiting for you
I'm just a crosshair
I'm just a shot away from you
And if you leave here
You leave me broken, shattered, I lie
I'm just a crosshair
I'm just a shot, then we can die

I know I won't be leaving here with you

I say don't you know
You say you don't go
I say... take me out!

I say you don't show
Don't move, time is slow
I say... take me out!

If I move this could die
If I move this could die
I want you...to take me out!

I say you don't know
You say you don't go
I say... take me out!

I know I won't be leaving here (with you)
I know I won't be leaving here
I know I won't be leaving here (with you)
I know I won't be leaving here with you

I say don't you know?
You say you don't know
I say take me out

If I wink, this can die
If I wane, this can die
I want you to take me out

If I move, this could die
If I move, this could die
Come on, take me out

I know I won't be leaving here with you"

DREAMING OF YOU

Dreaming of you is a song of the group: The Coral. The Coral have released 7 albums. One of their albums was voted the fourth best album of the year. The members are: James Skelly, Ian Skelly, Nick Power, Lee Southall and Paul Duffy. The band was formed in 1996 in England and they are playing great music today.

Lyrics:

What's up with my heart when it skips a beat (skips a beat)
Can't feel no pavement right under my feet (under my feet)

Up in my lonely room
When I'm dreaming of you
Oh what can I do (wah oooo)
I still need you, but
I don't want you now

When I'm down and my hands are tied (hands are tied)
I cannot reach a pen for me to draw the line (draw the line)
From this pain I just can't disguise (can't disguise)
Its gonna hurt but I'll have to say goodbye (say goodbye)

Up in my lonely room
When I'm dreaming of you
Oh what can I do (wah oooo)
I still need you, but
I dont want you now

Oh yeah

Ohhh Ohhhhh

Up in my lonely room
When I'm dreaming of you
Oh what can I do (wah oooo)
I still need you, but
I dont want you now

Finally this song speaks about love: a boy who loves a girl, but he's lonely and he doesn't know what he has to do. I love this song because it is lively and has a great rhythm. I love it and I think when you listen to it you'll love it too!
