THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Commounly called the United States (U.S.)  At 9.83 million km2 and with around 315 million people, the United States is the third-of fourth-largest country by total area, and the third-largest by both land area and population. It is one of the world’s most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations the product of large-scale immigration from many countries.
The country of the United States is a federal republic consisting of fifty states and a federal district. The country is situated mostly in central North America, where it’s forty-eight contiguous states and Washington, D.C., the capital district, lie between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south.
The United States was founded by 13 British colonies, which were situated along the atlantic coast; on July 4th, 1776 the Independence was declared. The current Constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787.

In the United States, the main language is English, and the currency is the dollar.

·New York: is the most populous city in the United states.


·Las Vegas, Nevada: is the biggest city of the state of Nevada, and it’s very famous because of the casinos.


·Los Angeles, California: is the most populous city in the U.S. state of California and the second most populous in the United States.

·Miami, Florida: is a major center and leader in finance, commerce, culture, media, entertainment, the arts, and international trade.


·Washington D.C., Virginia: formally the District of Columbia, is the capital of the United States.

·San Francisco, California: is the only consolidated city-county in California.

·Chicago, Illinois: is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Illinois , the most populous city in the American Midwest and the third most populous city in the United States.


·Orlando, Florida : it is the country seat of Orange Country.

·Boston, Massachusetts: is the capital of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is one of the oldest cities in the United States.

·Honolulu, Hawaii: is the capital and the most populous city of the U.S. state of Hawaii.


As the United States is a very big country, with many inhabitants, there are a lot of famous people, and the most important is Barack Obama, who is the president of the U.S.A.

The gastronomy .

Characteristic dishes such as apple pie, fried chicken, pizza, hamburgers, and hot dogs derive from the recipes of various immigrants. French fries, Mexican dishes such as burritos and tacos, and pasta dishes freely adapted from Italian sources are widely consumed.
And the typical dish in thanks giving dinner is the oven roasted turkey.



Yes, of course , I would love to live there, in the U.S.A. I think that is an awesome country, with a lot of interesting and beautiful cities.
I like the way of living and I also like the language.
I would like to study one or more years of my career in the U.S.A.
