A summer job

Dear Pilar,

I am writing in response to the advertisement for a dance instructor which appeared in El Pais newspaper last 29th of May. I would like be considered for the position and I enclose my CV.

As you will see from my CV, I have experience of organizing dancing events.I have won several awards for ballroom dancing. My specialty is the salsa but I also really like the bachata. I teach girls aged 10 and 11 years and they love it!

I am suitable for the post because I am organized and I am very funny. I would also describe myself as a very sociable person: people love me so much and I have no problems with anyone.

I am available from early September and I would be happy to attend an interview. I hope you write back soon.

Your sincerely,

Esperanza

Students should be allowed to take their mobile phones with them to school.

Should students  be allowed to take their phones to school, or should they be banned? There are many opinions about this topic.
On one hand,  students could use the mobile in emergency cases, or when they get sick. For these occasions the mobile phones can be very useful.

On the other hand, the phones can be very harmful to the student as they draw them away from their studies, and they can also disturb their classmates. Students must interact with their classmates and  being  always using their phones is not good for this.

To sum up, in my opinion the kids should not take their phones to school, or if they do, they should only be used for emergencies or at break time.

My interview with Jon Kortajarena

"Granada Fashion Week" was celebrated  last Monday. There were models from all over Spain and the world.
One of the most influential and famous models is Jon Kortajarena, I interviewed him

I asked him how he had started in the fashion world, he replied that he had not intention of being a model but  one day or another he  found himself in Paris doing castings.
I asked him about a special moment he has lived in his profession, he told me that it was when he was flying a private plane from a Caribbean island to Miami. It was incredible.
I asked him what his favourite places were, he told me Lanzarote was perfect to walk and  for fun and there was no other city like New York.
I asked him how his year had been,  Jon replied that it had been personally and professionally perfect too, so here's why he was very pleased and very happy.
Finally, I asked if he had liked Granada and that if he would come back and Jon said that he had liked it, especially the Alhambra and he would love to come back when he had more time.

My favorite song: Ain't No Mountain High Enough

This is one of my favourite songs  because it gives me a lot of energy and I'm glad the bad days.

Listen, baby
Ain't no mountain high
Ain't no vally low
Ain't no river wide enough, baby

If you need me, call me
No matter where you are
No matter how far
Just call my name
I'll be there in a hurry
You don't have to worry

'Cause baby,
There ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you

Remember the day
I set you free
I told you
You could always count on me
From that day on I made a vow
I'll be there when you want me
Some way,some how

'Cause baby,
There ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you

No wind, no rain

My love is alive
Way down in my heart
Although we are miles apart
If you ever need a helping hand
I'll be there on the double
As fast as I can

Don't you know that
There ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you

Don't you know that
There ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
