Pompeii

Here is our group during our visit to the city of Pompeii - We found it really fascinating!!

Ancient city of Campania, Italy, 14 near miles south west of Naples near Mt. Vesuvius, built on a spur formed by prehistoric lava flow to the north of mouth of the Sarnus river. 

Pompeii was destroyed, together with Herculaneum and Stabie, by the violent eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79; the circumstances of their preservation make their remains a unique document of Greco- Roman life.

 The modern town of Pompeii ( pop.1981 prelim. 22.896) lies to the east it contains the basilica of Santa Maria del Rosario, a pilgrimage centre.

Extracurricular Life

This is our project for ICO.  It is about life outside school of four high school students who have a busy life in activities such us sport, music and swimming.

My grandfather is my inspiration

Fours years ago I was with my grandfather he asked me why he was my inspiration. I said that I did not know.
He told me to come on. I told him he was my inspiration because he was hard-working, funny and the best person I had ever met in my life.
He started to cry. Then he asked me if that was true. I answered that it was true. Then he said I would like to be him when I was older. He told me his inspiration when he had been younger had been his father for the same things.

I thought it was good because my grandfather was very similar to his father so in the future I hope to be similar to my grandfather.
