There are many opinions about the imposition of oral exams instead of written exams. Is it better for the education doing oral exams? Or do they have just disadvantages for students?
On the one hand, although students feel under pressure in oral exams, they help to lose the fear to talk in public and they prepare them for the future better than written exams, which give students more time to think and answer questions appropriately .
On the other hand, not being accustomed to oral exams, students can get more nervous and they forget the correct answer to the questions or do not complete them properly.
In my opinion, I think the education should make more oral exams because these prepare students to have more mental agility.
This is the blog for students of 1º Bachillerato A and B in Padre Manjón High School. We are in Granada (Spain)

An interview with Leonardo DiCaprio.
I asked him some questions about his career, some of theme were for example: What was your inspiration to enter in the world of cinema? and he answered me that his father loved everything about the show and since he was a child he had had interpretation classes until the producers of the TV series "Santa Barbara" hired him, helping to become famous.
He starred films like "Titanic", which won 11 Oscars, directed by James Cameron, or "Inception" which received 8 nominations.
Leonardo DiCaprio was very lovely, simple and friendly when I interviewed him and I hope that in his next work I can re-interview him.
Here, you can see the full interview.

Enjoying Christmas!
It's Christmas! This is the time when people are happy for different things, for example, seeing people loved by them, spending time with family, or, for the kids, that they are given presents which are brought by Santa Claus and the Three Kings.
There are many traditions in Spain and in other countries where Christmas is celebrated. In Spain, for instance, we have Christmas Eve, when family celebrates a big dinner and we also have the Three Kings' parade on January 5th
In England there are other traditions, such as: on Christmas Eve, children leave their socks in the fireplace for Santa Claus, who fills them with gifts and they also have "Boxing Day", which is celebrated on December 26 when workers received their bonus (a gift that sometimes can be money)
There are many films about Christmas, such as "Home Alone", which is a family comedy.
And there are some Christmas songs too, like "Santa Baby", which is an old song originally sung by Eartha Kitt in 1953.
I hope you're enjoying your holidays, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
